FiBO® 260 is a true phase-shifting Michelson
interferometer for automated non-contact testing of polished ferrules
directly mounted to polishing plate. Comprehensive interferometric
3D surface mapping and 2D visual inspection capabilities are now
possible without removing ferrules from the polishing plate.

FiBO's fixed focal length magnifier and diffraction-limited
optical design deliver high contrast images, maximum system
stability and accurate readings.

The USB 2.0 interface fully controls FiBO 260, including
its motorized auto focus, and transfers uncompressed video
up to 30 frames-per-second. This enables a simple
laptop or desktop computer interface without an additional
external interface board or power supply.

Advanced, user-friendly FiBO
Code software controls all hardware functions, performs
all measurements, generates printable reports, and saves
resulting data in a flexible Access® database format.
